I host my own private instance of SearXNG, a privacy respecting search engine that pulls its data from multiple sources, including Google, Bing, and Brave and more. Feel free to check it out, however you will notice I have it sitting behind Cloudflare Zero Trust access so that random people or bots can’t use it, and only those I specifically allow. If you would like to use my private SearXNG instance, I would be happy to share it with you. I’ve personally really enjoyed using it, as it strips all ads, promotions, and AI from Google Search. It’s given me a lot better results than DuckDuckGo while still giving me some privacy. I highly recommend using it if you’re sick of ads on your searches. You’ll notice it’s a little slower than what you’re used to, but it’s a much “cleaner” search experience that reminds me of what searching online was like 10-15 years ago.
